Okay. Now What? - A Show for The Young and The Anxious.

Feb 10, 2020

I recently had someone lash out at me saying that I was victimizing the victims because I believe in taking responsibility for why our lives are the way they are. So, this episode I’m sitting down and explaining what I truly mean by this by explaining the difference between ‘’victim’’ and ‘’victimhood’’. And how one you don’t get a choice over – but the other you always do.

I think this distinction is SO important to make because there is no upside to living in this world from a place of victimhood – it only brings suffering to your life and the lives of those around you. But the good news is, you don’t have to – as 99 year old holocaust survivor Eddie Jaku has proved to us all, no matter what trauma and tortured you’ve endured, you always choose to use it as an opportunity to give more and get more out of your life.
